Ginger Juice

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 medium size head of ginger (approximately 2x3)
  • 2 cup water 

DIRECTIONS:

  1. If ginger is organic you don’t need to peel. Cut ginger in ½- 1 inch pieces. 
  2. Place cut ginger in blender
  3. Add 2 cups of cold filtered water and puree on high for 1-2 minutes. Make sure all the ginger is broken down into small pieces. 
  4. Using a mesh strainer, or cheesecloth to strain the ginger juice to remove all the pulp. You can save this for baking into muffins or just toss it.
  5. Store in the refrigerator for up to a month or freeze into ice cubes.
  6. Use in wellness shots, smoothies, soups, tea, or coffee!
