Are you waiting to be happy? Have you convinced yourself that you don’t deserve to be happy right NOW?
Is it because you think you can only be happy when you accomplish certain things, like reaching your desired weight? I have worked with so many clients that are chasing a dream and are so caught up in their to do list, that they have forgotten how to live in the present.
I get it. I’ve been there. It’s so easy to be consumed with the past, while anticipating the future, and be completely unaware of the present moment. It is only in the present that magic can unfold! Do you have a saboteur voice that plays this nonstop tape?
I will only be happy when… · I weigh XX on the scale · I fit into XX dress size · I make so much money · I lose the muffin top · I get a promotion · I workout X days a week · Or fill in the “blank” on whatever that thing is for you (the list could go on!) How long have you felt this way?
