When You Stop Getting Results...

Updated: Aug 30, 2019

"We can't solve problems from the same kind of thinking we used when we created them. " -Albert Einstein

What happens when you suddenly stop getting the results you desire…

Have you ever experienced a period of time where you reached that comfortable level with your eating style and then, what was working before, all of a sudden stopped giving you the results you desired? Or… maybe you achieved the physical results with your body, however you are now tired of having to be so restrictive and controlled with everything? Or …have you fallen off the wagon and gone into a binge period so the results have ceased to exist?

What I have come to see and realize through years working in the health and wellness industry, is that almost everyone can relate to at least one or all of these above scenarios.

If you are unhappy with your life, your body and struggle with your weight, then chances are you have fallen into at least one of these 3 survival traps below.

1. You’ve been following a keto, vegetarian, vegan, paleo, or raw food diet etc. for several years and have benefited tremendously. Then, all of a sudden, the diet stops working for you.

You start having symptoms (that could be, but are not limited too);

  • Digestion issues

  • Low energy

  • Foggy brain

  • Depression

  • Thyroid issues

  • Weight gain

You may not want to make a change with your diet, however, your body is screaming at you that you need to change. This particular story is a very personal one to me. I hit a wall 3x after being a vegetarian for 10 years, vegan for 2 years and raw foodist for 7 years. As I hit my personal wall, my body forced me to make changes in what and how I was eating.

2. Or this story could be more your truth…. For years, you have been restricting and controlling your diet. Everyday, you're in a battle with yourself over the food you consume.

You count calories, weigh yourself daily (possibly several times a day), everything you eat is calculated. If you’re honest with yourself, you think about food more than any one thing or person in your life. Food brings you no joy because you treat it like an enemy that you are in a constant struggle with. You’re always exhausted and unhappy because you’re putting so much of your energy towards what you eat. If you eat anything that you do enjoy, you feel guilty because it was most likely on your self-imposed bad food list. Suddenly, you can’t do it anymore. You throw in the towel. You are tired of the constant struggle with yourself over what you eat.

3. Then, there are the famous yo-yo dieters. You may find a diet that works for a little while, but even when it’s working, you are never completely satisfied and happy.

Something happens, you get triggered and then you fall off the wagon and go on an over-exercising, junk food, sugar and/or a possible alcohol binge. This binge goes on until some special date or event (like your birthday or the New Year) hits and then you go back onto the diet you were getting some results from and stick with it for a while... until you get triggered again and repeat the same pattern.

In all 3 of these cycles, they can continue repeating themselves...for years! (It’s also possible to dabble into more than one story.)

The good news is that deep down you know that there is another way and the spark of hope never completely goes out for finding a much more satisfying way to nourish yourself.

If you relate to one or more of these stories, then you have come to the right place!

I personally and deeply understand these issues. I have lived through them myself and have helped many step out of these challenging cycles and step into the journey of creating their own personal recipe for life.

We’re connected for a reason. If you’ve hit your wall please know there is a much better and more satisfying way to live.

What I have learned:

  • There is never one perfect diet that will work for your entire life.

  • You need to be nutritionally flexible.

  • What you eat is never the ‘whole picture’ when it comes to your health.

  • How much you love & respect your body is a direct reflection of your overall health.

  • Uncovering and releasing your toxic body beliefs leads to freedom and happiness.

  • Knowing your truth leads to power and strength.

  • Feeling good goes way beyond exercising and a healthy diet.

Luckily for me, I had help and guidance to transform my limiting food beliefs and create a nourishing relationship with food and design my own recipe for life.

A beautiful truth that is possible for you to discover is that your entire life will change as you learn to eat in a peaceful, nourishing way. I want you to receive joy and pleasure from what you eat.

I want your entire life to be filled with blissful experiences and you to feel confident & comfortable in your body. When you're ready to look at your beliefs and make lifestyle changes to create your own recipe for life. I will be by your side.

My coaching/ guidance program called Nourish Within was designed and created to give you the support you desire, I become your personal Nourishment Alchemist.  It’s the program I wish I had when I was struggling with my personal food challenges & body issues.
